My Brand
I have been working on this brand for over two years. As part of Fashion Art Tornto, I displayed my collection, Motif One, in November 2022. This is a mixture of work from various collections of mine. From the brighter feel of summer to the neutral look of fall, I wanted to capture the essence of most of the seasons. I imagined people wearing our brand feeling comfortable, while also enjoying a bit of colour or a lot of it. This is why these patterns are sometimes playful just to keep things interesting.
The Journey Collection
The concept initially centered around movement but evolved to symbolize the ongoing narrative of the brand, encapsulating memories and aspirations. The collection aims to articulate the brand's journey, marked by highs and lows, and the significance found in challenges. The four selected photos, captured and edited in 2019-2020 under specific constraints, reflect the photographer's creative limitations at the time, restricting them to capturing landscapes from within a bus or car.
